MARSHALL WHITE

OPEN MAGAZINE
REFRESH 2025

Event Photography

Showcasing the top 20 editions of Open from 2025, this project involved another design refresh that I led, exploring how colour could be introduced in a bold and distinctive way. With the magazine reaching up to 30,000 digital views and 4,000 printed copies distributed, I recognised the importance of creating visually engaging designs that would capture attention across both formats. This led me to experiment with techniques such as text masking, using typography and colour to create more dynamic and memorable compositions. The refreshed magazine designs were subsequently presented to all agents alongside a broader suite of marketing materials developed as part of the company’s rebrand.

OPEN MAGAZINE
REFRESH 2026

Open Covers and Spreads

With 4,000 copies printed monthly and distributed to the public and businesses, Open provides Marshall White with a creative platform to explore the lifestyle sector through publishing. Collaborating with partners such as NGV, ACCA and The Lucas Group has broadened my understanding of how colour, layout and design can be explored across diverse partnerships and creative contexts. At the beginning of 2026, I led a design refresh of the magazine, reimagining Open as a contemporary lifestyle publication while creating opportunities to experiment with its visual identity, editorial direction and overall aesthetic.

VIDEO AND ANIMATED CONTENT
2024-2026

Animated Social Content & Event Hype Reel Content

Marshall White provided me with the opportunity to further develop my motion design skills through an intensive eight-week course with School of Motion. Working across both After Effects and Premiere Pro, I have been able to apply and expand on these skills through a range of projects, including animated social media designs, eDM assets and event hype reels, with some video projects extending to five minutes in length. While motion design is still an evolving area of my skill set, the experience has given me the confidence to experiment with new techniques, explore different approaches to animation and continue pushing my creative capabilities.

AGENT MARKETING REBRAND
2026

Bespoke Agent Marketing

Noting we wanted the brand to stay not only consistent, but ahead of the trends itself, I was approached to creatively lead the rebrand of all agent marketing assets. This included up to 15 different templates, with over 200 different designs, in various sizes and materials - including my introduction of the transparent page as a bespoke request. Learning furhter about the printing process and how we can translate this work from print to digital was an extremelmy rewardign process especially with seeing all the work produced together at the end.

DIGITAL MAREKTING REBRAND
2026

Pre-Release, Suburb Insights and Concierge Service

Rebranding the digital assets for 3 various sectors including Pre-release, concierge service and suburb insights. This was an enjoyable task in looking at ways we can stand out from compeititors, in a more unique way, introducing the blurred/grained effect. This was then seen how we could translate this across a variety of assets including print, eDMs, animations etc. This project was also lead by myself in collaboration with the digital team.

COMMUNITY ASSETS
2024-2026

Foundation and Charity Assets

Creating a variety of foundation and community-focused assets for the Marshall White Foundation allowed me to collaborate with a range of charities, organisations and external partners, developing creative materials that aligned with their individual brands and requirements. Working with organisations such as YouMatter, NGV and Stand Up for September exposed me to different design approaches and advertising formats, while strengthening my ability to adapt creative direction across a variety of partnerships. A particular highlight for me, having previously worked within the sporting industry, was designing the AFL Finals feteboards. Each year, I created promotional designs representing the top eight teams, which were displayed on properties throughout the finals period. This was especially rewarding, allowing me to combine my interest in sport with my design experience and contribute to a campaign that extended beyond traditional marketing collateral.
