FREELANCE WORK

WEDDING
2026

Francesca & Thomas Wedding Assets

Working on this project was incredibly rewarding, particularly as it was my first series of wedding designs. Beginning with the initial invitation design, the project naturally expanded into a complete suite of wedding collateral, including the website, signage, place cards, guest letters, thank-you notes, menus and seating cards. Working directly with Press Print also provided valuable insight into the print production process, allowing me to explore different techniques, materials and finishes. This included experimenting with embossed detailing for the stationery and considering various paper stocks and coatings to achieve a considered, premium finish across the collection

CARAMEL CREATIVE
2022

OSO Skincare Social Media Design

Working for 2 months at Caramel creative completing my internship allowed me to explore and learn on the job, using their various clients to complete asstets for them. The company has been operating for over 15 years and looks at the strategies that build meaningful stories for clients through their branding campaigns. Being a design intern for 6 weeks at Caramel opened my eyes to the world of graphic design and demonstrated to me the possibilities and processes amongst the design working life. The company had approximately 15 workers, consisting of a design team, digital team and management team for client purposes. Projects created by the company include identities for brands, website development and videography. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with the design team, as the creative director, Justin Davies, took me on board to explore the possibilities of branding and what occurs behind scenes. Reflecting on my experience at the internship, this has demonstrated to me the expanse of a branding agency, consisting of the in-depth processes taking place to develop a concept, and the cooperation required within the agency. Working at Caramel Creative was an extremely rewarding experience, as the team continued to be very welcoming upon my arrival. I took part in several tasks within the company that allowed me to gain more knowledge on the tasks and goals of the company. This included shadowing Caramel staff to gain further role understanding, participating in external client meetings, collaborating with the team members and providing support to ongoing design projects within the business as demonstrated below.

PROCLAIM
2022/23

Part Time Graphic Design at Proclaim

Working at Proclaim as an Art Curator also provided me with the opportunity to further explore my design style through additional graphic design projects as required. This included developing new logos for the company's technology sector, designing invitations and creating exhibition collateral at the request of the owner.

The design featured above was created for the company's 25-year anniversary celebration. The company's mascot, a rhinoceros disguised as a zebra, was given a playful makeover, dressed and ready to celebrate. I particularly enjoyed the creative freedom of this brief and the opportunity to incorporate the personality and meaning behind the occasion into the final invitation design.

My time at Proclaim also broadened my understanding of the art world. Working alongside Jon, an established art collector with connections to organisations such as the NGV and Gertrude Contemporary, exposed me to a diverse range of emerging Australian and international artists. Providing research and analysis across a collection of up to 500 artworks was an extensive process, but one that significantly developed my knowledge of contemporary art, artistic practices and the wider creative industry.
